Part of the NW tip of Southwest Portland real estate, Raleighwood is a narrow neighborhood with Rte 8/Canyon road to the North, and Scholls Ferry then Rte. 10 along the southern side. If you take the Sylvan exit on Hwy 26 and head south, you are in Raleighwood.
Home prices in Ralelighwood vary from the $200k’s up and over $875k and home styles change just as much. Some homes were built in the 1970′s and have been incredibly re-done, others are new and have beautiful architectural detail throughout. Primarily a residential area, home owners have quick access to retail shops all along Rtes 8 & 10.
There are two parks in this neighborhood: Raleighwood Park & Swim Center and the Raleighwood Park with 7.5 acres to explore and depending on the neighborhood, walking is pretty easy although there are still parts without sidewalks.
