Cedar Mill is continually confused by it’s cousin Cedar Hills - just south of Hwy 26. A helpful hint to remembering the difference is that Cedar Mill is in the ‘trees’ and it was named after a sawmill that used to operate in the vicinity.
This neighborhood has been long established as part of Northwest Portland and Cedar Mill is filled with older and established homes. With it’s own farmers market and Sunset transit shuttle, Cedar Mill is homey but perfectly situated for access to all points Portland via Hwy 26 and 217.
